An interrupted upload does not always mean that a recording is lost. It also does not prove that the server received the whole file. Treat the local recording and the uploaded copy as separate things until the recording system confirms completion.

Preserve the device state

Keep the recording page or app open when possible. Do not immediately clear browser storage, uninstall the app or delete a session folder. Those actions may remove material the tool needs for recovery.

Write down the session name, participant and approximate time of the interruption. Note whether the recording itself had stopped or whether only the transfer was interrupted. This helps separate a capture problem from an upload problem.

Follow the current tool's recovery instructions. If it offers a resume control, use that path instead of repeatedly creating new rooms. Keep the network connection stable during the retry and avoid running several retries for the same track at once.

Check the recovered result

After completion, inspect the track duration and listen near the interruption. Check the beginning and end as well. A successful request or a file name alone is not enough to show that the whole conversation is present.

If the tool lets you export the local source, keep a copy before making more changes. Label recovered files clearly so an editor does not combine an incomplete early version with the finished one.

Podbento's access is being prepared, so use the recovery behavior documented for the release and device you actually have. The general priority is the same: preserve the source, retry through a known path and verify the resulting audio before deleting anything.
